"a critical mass of information"

Steve Leibson

What journalists say

As a former Editor-in-Chief, I can safely say that Newstips was one of the few Marcomm vehicles I looked forward to receiving, and have for years. Why?

    Because:
    1. Each tip is one paragraph. Martin knows how to pack the meat of an announcement into that one paragraph and make it sufficiently informative so that an editor immediately knows whether the tip applies to his or her publication. No fat.

    2. Martin tries to always be amusing. Mostly he succeeds. (Hey, even the best standup comics try their material out at the clubs before using them in prime time. Martin hasn't got that luxury.)

    3. The companies Martin includes in his tips are movers and shakers in the industry.

    4. There is always complete contact info so that we can get more information if we need it.

    5. Newstips are convenient because I read them when I want, not when the PR account manager chooses to call and bend my ear. Also, Newstips contain a critical mass of information that I can read in one quick sitting.
