I tried it and I liked it.

When I was in a SR. VP Marketing slot, I used Newstips to kick off an awareness-building program to the editorial community, and received calls the first week of the program. Your mileage may vary, but I recommend it highly. I thought it had excellent reach and was very inexpensive.
