There are some very complicated cell phones out there, but they may not become a vision of what we'll all be carrying. Tech industry insider Marty Winston has looked into the statistics on what people actually use & has some less confusing news about what's to come.

    When's the last time you thought about the technology in your wristwatch? We've seen a lot of gimmicky watches over the years with all kinds of extra gizmos built in, but the watches we buy tend to stay simpler and concentrate on basic functions. And that's where we foresee cell phones going.

Here's one interesting statistic: only about 1% of users ever use a cell phone to watch TV. Among all non-phone features, the one that people use most is the alarm clock.
