Be on the watch for addictive computer activities that can turn into time vampires. If you're spending more than a few hours a day in online gaming realms or chat rooms or message boards or media sites, step back and think about how much this virtual life is taking you away from real life.
If the appeal of being online is its artificial socialization, the antidote is involvement with real people in the real world. Church, community groups and volunteer organizations are all good starting points.
